The Seedhead Arts Street Art Walking Tour group approaches a wall to get a closer look in the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast November 11, 2018. “Lobster Pot” was created by Sam Bates, aka Smug, an Australian native who now lives in Glasgow. Smug stayed an extra day in Belfast to repaint the lobster that the chef holds in order to get it just right. Three weeks later, the building’s owner erected a fence that covers the lobster. The uncertain future of street art offers a transitory allure.
